Cahuita National Park Hiking
Costa Rica is known for its impressive diversity of wildlife. To see species like sloths and monkeys, you can book excursions into the country’s most remote regions. But it doesn’t always have to be so extreme. One place, which is packed with wildlife but just minutes from civilization, is Cahuita National Park.
The tour consists of a walk along the National Park trail of approximately 7 km. The activity starts from our office in the community of Cahuita, entering the national park through the sector of Playa Blanca and taking the trail to Punta Cahuita, crossing through beautiful beaches where the tourist can swim in the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea. In Cahuita you can observe various types of snakes (boas, bocaraca, terciopelos, oropel, micas, ranera etc.) sloths, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, anteaters, armadillos, raccoons, blue morpho butterflies, birds and many more things like: medicinal plants, orchids, trees, ferns, bromeliads, etc.
Includes: Round-trip transport to the hotel, donation to the park, bilingual guide, fruit snack, bottle of water and lunch.
