For an even greater variety of aquatic life, head out to Isla Catalina and Isla Murcielagos. Cortez angelfish, parrotfish, clown shrimp, spotted eagle rays, hogfish and bull sharks are some of the many marine dwellers here. Costa Rica Inspire is one of the best dive companies in Playa del Coco, with plenty of other diving tour operators found here as well. The nearby Playa Hermosa and Playa Ocotal also offer some fantastic diving opportunities.

Join us daily for 2 tank local diving and explore the Pacific. The Gulf of Papagayo offers some of the Pacific Ocean most interesting marine diversity. The plankton-rich waters support numerous species from big to small. On any given day you may see big schools of fish, reef sharks, turtles and all kind of rays! For the macro lovers, we have many types of small nudibranchs, clown shrimp and more. Most of our local dive sites are located within 10 to 20 min and it is quite common to see some curious dolphins or passing whales during the boat ride!

We meet for local dives at 7:30 am and the diver has to be here 7:20 am if all paperwork is done. Paperwork is preferred to be done the day before. If paperwork was not done the day before, the clients need to present themselves at the dive center at 07:00 am.
