El Tigre Waterfalls
The El Tigre Waterfalls are found within 60 hectares of forest, mainly, primary and in which it is common to observe some species of animals such as monkeys, snakes, peccaries, a variety of insects, birds, among others; the place offers two different trails and four beautiful waterfalls between 15 and 30 meters high.

This is the most complete option where you will experience the forest hiking without a guide through all the 4 big waterfalls, 10 bridges and swimming pools in the river with no limit of time!

We have a beautiful viewpoint that let you see 4 volcanoes: Volcán Arenal, Volcán Rincón de la vieja, Volcán Tenorio y Volcán Miravalles. If the weather is nice you can also see part of the Guanacaste Province and the Arenal Lake.
This is the most complete option where you will experince the forest hiking without a guide through all the 4 big waterfalls, 10 bridges and swiming pools in the river with no limit of time! In the last section of the trail wich is up the hill you will be able to ride horses, or if you prefer we have a safari car 4×4 that you can use instead. At the end of the tour you will have a delicious typicall lunch. We have veggie and vegan options 🙂
Once you arrive to the reception you will be able to park in a free and safe spot. At the reception we will give you a map and all the instructions you need to know before to start.

This option does not include horses, safari 4×4 nor lucn. You will experince the forest, hiking without a guide through all the waterfalls, bridges and swiming pools in the river with no limit of time! You can bring snacks and eat them in the forest. We also sell delicious food at the small coffee place.
